Jared Goff has revitalized his career in Detroit, leading the Lions to back-to-back 10-win seasons, a franchise-best 15 wins in 2024, and a league-best scoring offense. He was rewarded with a four-year, $212 million extension before throwing for 4,629 yards and 37 touchdowns last season.
Off the field, Goff and model actress Christen Goff — who began dating in 2019 and married in 2023 — recently announced they’re expecting their first child. The couple shared the news on Instagram, revealing that the baby girl is due this summer.
What Makes Christen Goff’s Career So Unique?
The couple met on Raya, an exclusive dating app often used by celebrities. Jared was still playing for the Los Angeles Rams when they started talking.
Goff works as a model and actress, and she was named the co-winner of the 2021 Sports Illustrated Swim Search for new models. She was also named the co-rookie of the year following her 2022 appearance in the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue.
Her acting career started early, with her debut coming in 2004 when she appeared in a short titled “Seven’s Eleven.” Two years later, she made a brief appearance as “Girl 1” in the hit TV series “Entourage.”
However, Goff did not have any acting credits for 13 years until she starred in a film titled “Auggie” in 2019. She also had a role in “The Obituary of Tunde Johnson” that same year.
How Did Goff Handle Pregnancy During Her Sports Illustrated Shoot?
She discussed her pregnancy with People ahead of Super Bowl 59 and revealed that she was pregnant while shooting her 2025 appearance in the swimsuit issue.
“That was really an interesting time to be shooting in a bikini,” Goff told People. “Looking back, it was a little challenging, but it was fun because I’m going to have those moments forever. Everybody celebrates when you have that like real bump, but that in-between time when you’re kind of just feeling a little, I don’t know, not so yourself, it’s hard. So, I’m happy I got to celebrate that moment and bring something good out of it.”
She recently shared a video on her Instagram account of her and the Lions star announcing their pregnancy.

While the exact date of Goff’s daughter is unclear, the child is reportedly due to arrive at any moment, as Christen appears to be in the latter stages of her pregnancy.
