Welcome to the final weekend to complete your fantasy football drafts before the season kicks off! That’s right, we’re nearing real regular-season football. No more backups in the preseason or mock drafts. If you’re looking for IDP rankings to help you draft, welcome in, and I hope these help guide you to a title this season.

This a reminder for anyone just using these that IDP scoring varies widely. Don’t use these if tackles are less valuable or if you receive huge points for sacks and interceptions. Top IDP Players To Draft in 2024

Bobby Okereke, LB, New York Giants

One of the top linebackers and overall IDP players in 2023 may well improve in 2024. Well, yes, if we’re talking Bobby Okereke. Despite being an elite LB in 2023, Okereke wasn’t always the only one on the field. However, the new defense in New York is primed to really allow him to post high tackle totals.

New Giants coordinator Shane Bowen comes from the Titans, who, for the last several seasons, have consistently produced high-end tackle numbers from their top linebackers. Now, Okereke may be the best LB to be put into this scheme, so it would hardly be a surprise to see him finish as the top dog in 2024.

Nick Bosa, DE, San Francisco 49ers

If you want to hold a down 2023 against Nick Bosa, feel free, but that will be a mistake.

Bosa held out all of the preseason last year and played his way into game shape. All while not having much pass rush opposite him to draw attention, this limited Bosa’s production and led to his “down” year.

Let this be a reminder that sacks are fickle. There’s a reason why smart IDP analysts don’t use sacks to justify rankings but rather underlying metrics. Sacks can vary wildly year over year. However, the elite guys still in their prime don’t stay down. Thus, Bosa may well be the top IDP DL in 2024.
