Ranking the 15 Best Offensive Players To Play With in EA Sports Madden NFL 25 From George Kittle to Lamar Jackson

After the worldwide launch of Madden NFL 25, we take a look at the 15 best offensive players in this year's game.

Madden NFL 25 has been available to download for over 24 hours now, and football fans are really enjoying this year’s version of the game so far. With 32 teams to choose from and over 700 players in the game, we went ahead and ranked the 15 best offensive players to play with.

The 15 Best Offensive Players in Madden NFL 25

    15. TE George Kittle – San Francisco 49ers

The San Francisco 49ers’ All-Pro gets the nod for me over Travis Kelce as the best tight end in this year’s game because of two factors: speed and the “Route Apprentice” ability. George Kittle is one of the fastest tight ends in the game, boasting an 88-speed rating, while he is the only player at his position who has access to four additional hot routes, regardless of what position he lines up at.

    14. WR Xavier Worthy – Kansas City Chiefs

Tied for the second fastest player in the game, Xavier Worthy is one of those players who is a must-draft if you are doing a fantasy draft in franchise mode. Only 21 years old and with 98 speed, he is very “worthy” of a top draft pick. Just put him on a streak route and watch him fly by the defense.

    13. Frank Ragnow – Detroit Lions

The big boys need some love too, right? Frank Ragnow rates as the best center in the entire game and for good reason. He possesses the “Linchpin” superstar ability, which grants better blocking to the entire offensive line. That is, by far, one of the best abilities in the game.

    12. Derrick Henry – Baltimore Ravens

With the new physics engine incorporated into Madden NFL 25, size matters, and no one can run defenders over like Derrick Henry. At 6’3″ and close to 250 pounds, Henry is a beast in this year’s game. He also owns the “Arm Bar”, “Tank”, and “Steamroller” abilities, which allow him to stiff-arm, truck, and fall forward more frequently than any other running back in the game.

    11. Aaron Rodgers – New York Jets

For years in Madden, Aaron Rodgers has been one of the best quarterbacks in the game. Mainly because of his specific release, “Slinger 1”, he gets the ball out quicker than any other quarterback in the game. Throw in the “Gunslinger” ability, which gives him increased throwing velocity, and you will be throwing laser beams left and right.

    10. DK Metcalf – Seattle Seahawks

At 6’4″ with 96 speed, DK Metcalf is one of the best receivers to use in EA Sports Madden NFL 25. He comes equipped with the “Red -Zone Threat” ability and the “Outside Apprentice” ability, which gives him four additional hot routes when lined up on the perimeter.

    9. Trent Williams – San Francisco 49ers

Ninety-nine overall left tackle Trent Williams has every ability you could want at your left tackle position. “Nasty Streak”, “All Day”, “Post Up”, and “Edge Protector” will have you able to sit in the pocket all day. Williams also possesses 99 awareness, 99 lead block, and 99 impact block.

    8. Justin Jefferson – Minnesota Vikings

Maybe one of the smoothest receivers in both the real NFL and Madden NFL 25, Justin Jefferson has high ratings in every category that matters for a receiver. The 99 spectacular catch and 97 deep route running really stand out here.

    7. Christian McCaffrey – San Francisco 49ers

Madden NFL 25 cover star, Christian McCaffrey is the highest-rated running back in the game. Although not the fastest player in the game, CMC is absolutely electric in the open field with his “Evasive” superstar ability. This allows him to have better spin and juke animations. He comes equipped with four additional hot routes as well.

    6. Mike Evans – Tampa Bay Buccaneers

At 6’5″, Mike Evans is a monster in Madden NFL 25. If you are capable of user-catching, then using Evans makes offense extremely easy. With 95 jump and 97 catch-in-traffic ratings, he is one of the best players to use in the game.

    5. Jalen Hurts – Philadelphia Eagles

Similar to Rodgers, Jalen Hurts owns the “Gunslinger” ability in Madden NFL 25. The reason Hurts is listed higher on our rankings is that he boasts 89 speed, which allows him to escape the pocket quicker. Hurts also owns the “Fastbreak” ability, gaining better blocking on designed quarterback run plays.

    4. Raheem Mostert – Miami Dolphins

Speed is king, and 95-speed Raheem Mostert is one of the fastest in the game. Similar to McCaffrey, Mostert possesses the “Evasive” ability, allowing for better spin and juke animations. Paring Mostert with teammate De’Von Achane (96 speed) is a dynamic combination in the backfield.

    3. Patrick Mahomes – Kansas City Chiefs

Patrick Mahomes is the only quarterback in Madden NFL 25 who has access to the full hot route tree, making offense with him that much easier. He also has increased throw power on bullet passes with the “Pass Lead Elite” ability and perfect accuracy on all throws under 40 yards outside the pocket with the “Dashing Deadeye” ability.

    2. Tyreek Hill – Miami Dolphins

Ninety-nine speed — need I say more? The fastest player in EA Sports Madden NFL 25 makes our list as the No. 2 best player to use in this year’s game. Dominating in almost every rating category, Tyreek Hill makes Sunday feel like a video game, and it correlates to the virtual gridiron.

    1. Lamar Jackson – Baltimore Ravens

Of course, the quarterback is the most important position in the actual NFL, and it is in Madden NFL 25 as well. Lamar Jackson is the second-highest-rated quarterback in the game behind Mahomes but is the fastest in the game.

Jackson also gets better blocking and better jukes with the “Fastbreak” and “Jukebox” superstar abilities. Can he be on par with Madden NFL 2004’s Michael Vick as the greatest football game character ever? We’re not sure about that, but only time will tell.
