Caitlin Clark Continues To Be Good Luck Charm As Colts Dominate Raiders With Fever Star in Attendance

Indiana Fever star guard Caitlin Clark was present at Lucas Oil Stadium to showcase her support for the Colts in their matchup against the Raiders on Sunday

On Sunday night, Indiana Fever star shooting guard Caitlin Clark was present at Lucas Oil Stadium for the NFL game between the Indianapolis Colts and the Las Vegas Raiders. Clark has been sidelined from on-court action for most of the campaign due to recurring groin and quad injuries.

While she set the tone in her rookie season last year after being selected as the No. 1 overall pick in the WNBA draft, the 2025 season hasn’t gone as she hoped. However, despite her injuries, Clark continued to cheer on her teammates throughout their playoff run this season, which ended with a loss in the semifinals against the Las Vegas Aces.

Caitlin Clark Proves to be a Lucky Charm for the Colts

While Clark was in the stands cheering for the Colts, Indianapolis put on a show at home, routing the Raiders 40-6 to improve to 4-1 on the season. Clark was joined by some of her Fever teammates, who all received their personalized Colts jerseys on the ground before the kickoff.

The two-time WNBA All-Star is in rehab and aims to come back stronger next season. The Fever has won three conference titles but only one WNBA championship, a title won more than a decade ago in 2012. With Clark and Sophie Cunningham on their roster, healthy and firing on all cylinders, Indiana will aim for the silverware next year.

The Indiana Fever Star Spoke at Length About the Toughest Stretch of Her WNBA Career Yet

In an earlier interview from the season, when Clark sustained an injury to her ankle right when she was in the middle of her rehab with the groin injury, the 23-year-old reflected on the injury and the lengthy stint she would have to spend on the sidelines to recover from those injuries fully.

Clark said, “I just went to make a move and, unfortunately, my ankle completely rolled all the way forward, probably one of the worst sprains I’ve dealt with. But I’ve just tried to stay positive the best I can, but I honestly feel like I’m in a really good spot. Honestly, my ankle didn’t allow me to really see where my groin was at.”

She added, “When you’re injured, it’s honestly more work than when you’re playing. I’ve spent so much time here in this building this season just trying to get healthy and trying to get back to 100%.”

Clark concluded, “There was no decision this is the end of my season. I had full intention of returning… but it was crushing knowing that I was never going to be able to put my uniform back on for the rest of the season.”

While Clark’s 2025 WNBA season ended prematurely, she will surely be eyeing a chance to avenge the time lost and work that to her advantage once fully fit and ready to return to on-court action next season.
