While the NBA All-Star Game round-robin tournament at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, Calif., on Sunday might have drawn some fans’ ire for its empty seats, that didn’t keep those in attendance from liking the action.
NBA fans and others around the NBA world who were present appear to be happy with what they are seeing on the court.

NBA World Reacts to All-Star Game On-Court Action
Former Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, who has been in the news recently over reports that he was interested in getting the franchise back, went on X and shared his thoughts.
“Adam Silver has to be happy,” Cuban wrote. “Fun. Competitive. Great energy. #NBAAll-Star”. Steve Jones, who is a former assistant coach with the New Jersey Nets, also had some kind words about what he was watching, too. Jones posted on X, “I am enjoying the All-Star Game format.”

Molly Morrison, who calls herself a professional basketball fan and writes for Bleacher Report, had some really kind words, too. Morrison posted on X, “this all-star game has been awesome. having the guys play for their country (aka pride) was inevitably gonna get them to go hard. really great stuff”.

Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards, who is playing for the USA All-Stars, pointed out the play of San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama. Edwards was interviewed during a break in the action.

Jake Fischer, “The People’s Insider” who contributes to NBA reporter Marc Stein’s “The Stein Line,” had this to say after watching the play on the court: “The basketball has been good.”

Alex Kennedy, NFL/NBA Deputy Editor at PFSN, was also impressed by what he was seeing take place as NBC and Peacock were carrying the NBA All-Star Game. Kennedy posted on X, “A block followed by a deflection! In the NBA All-Star Game!”

Jay King, who covers the Boston Celtics for The Athletic, was quite happy with the action he was seeing take place on the court at the Intuit Dome. King posted on X, “I’ve seen enough. The All-Star Game is back. This is awesome.”
With this level of outpouring of happiness and joy about the round-robin tournament format for the NBA All-Star Game, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver might have found a good way to keep players competitive.
