Hailey Summers is married to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of the Oklahoma City Thunder, but the woman is no less than accomplished in the world of sports. She brings that same energy in her own personal life, having been her team’s former soccer star and got her team to triumph.

Hailey was born on October 22, 1999, in Hamilton, Ontario, and it was evident from a young age that Hailey was made for sports. Ron Summers, her father, was a firefighter for thirty years and brought along with him the values of discipline and dedication to her.
At St. Mary Catholic Secondary School, Hailey’s athletic talent was evident as she led her soccer team to the Hamilton Wentworth Catholic Association championship. This impressive performance earned the right to play for the University at Albany and turned around and play as a defender for the three years 2017-2021.

Hailey has been dating Shai since 2017. In June 2023 they announced their engagement, and in December 2023, they shared that they have a child on the way. They announced they had married on February 14, 2024. They welcomed their son, Ares Alexander, in April 2024. They’ve shared snapshots of their relationship from time to time, over the years.
Sometimes the couple share insights into their life on Instagram, one time he shared a photo of him while holding his kid with the caption “Ares’ dad entering year 7”. That post blew up and received more than 700k likes many celebrities and athletes have commented on it as well one such comment was from “@Treshaunmann” saying “damn big ahh shorts”.
