How To Watch Slovenia vs. Germany at FIBA EuroBasket 2025: TV Channel, Time, More for Luka Dončić vs. Dennis Schröder

Catch all the details on how to watch Slovenia vs. Germany at FIBA EuroBasket 2025 (friendly match), including tip-off time and more.

Luka Dončić, who is fresh off a blockbuster trade that sent him from the Mavericks to the Lakers on February 2 last season, is back in Europe to represent Slovenia.

After averaging a stellar 28.2 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 7.5 assists in his first stretch with the Lakers and securing a contract extension just days ago, Dončić is now facing Germany again in their FIBA EuroBasket 2025 preparation games. And after their fiery clash earlier this week, round two is set. Here’s how you can catch it.

When and Where to Watch Slovenia vs. Germany Rematch?

On Sunday, August 10, Slovenia and Germany will meet for the second time following their August 8 friendly battle, in which Germany claimed a 103–89 victory. This rematch will take place at SAP Arena in Mannheim, Germany, and will start at 11:30 a.m. ET.

Fans worldwide can stream the game live through Courtside 1891, the official platform of FIBA. This service will carry every game of the upcoming EuroBasket tournament, plus a lineup of additional exhibition contests leading up to the event.

FIBA YouTube Channel offers select live games and highlights, although not all matches may be available. However, the highlight could be posted on this channel.

The Roster Spotlights of Both Teams

Slovenia’s squad includes two active NBA players: Dončić and Vlatko Čančar of the Denver Nuggets. In their first game against Germany, Dončić posted 19 points, three rebounds, and five assists, but despite his efforts, Slovenia couldn’t overcome Germany’s balanced attack.

“I still feel bit jet lagged, but I think it will pass soon. I probably won’t play the whole game, but I think there will be enough minutes. Depends on how my body feels. I haven’t played 5 on 5 in a long time. It’s a completely different rhythm. But I feel good,” said Dončić after the last game.

Unfortunately for Slovenian fans, Dončić won’t suit up for the rematch, and neither will veteran Edo Murić, meaning the team will need to find scoring and leadership from elsewhere.

Germany’s previous win came despite missing some of their most well-known stars. Magic forward Franz Wagner shone brightest as he dropped 18 points on an efficient 7-for-10 shooting in only 17 minutes of play. Even without Dennis Schröder, Daniel Theis, and Maodo Lô, Germany’s offense clicked.

The team will be even stronger for the rematch. Schröder, who averaged 13.1 points per game in the NBA last season, is expected to return and provide veteran leadership at the point guard spot. Combined with Wagner’s scoring punch, this duo could pose serious problems for a Slovenian team missing its biggest star.
