Stephen Curry was once again spotted wearing a different pair of basketball shoes on Sunday. Since the split between Curry and Under Armour, the Golden State Warriors superstar has worn various sneakers, including Nike Kobes and Reebok Shaqs.
This time around, Curry wore a pair of Adidas shoes. Interestingly enough, the pair he wore on Sunday hasn’t been officially released yet. It’s intriguing how Adidas granted him access to an unreleased pair, especially since Steph isn’t necessarily under contract with the company.
Stephen Curry Unveils the New Adidas Crazy Energy Plus
The Warriors took on the Minnesota Timberwolves at Target Center on Sunday night. It was during the pre-game warm-up that Curry was spotted wearing Adidas’ upcoming basketball shoes, the ‘Crazy Energy+.’
According to multiple sources, the Adidas Crazy Energy+ is set to release sometime in Spring 2026. As of this writing, the pair is also set to launch with two colorways. One is the abstract striped design that Curry wore on Sunday. The other is a pure metallic silver color.

While the shoe company has yet to announce its price for the upcoming pair, several sources predict that the Adidas Crazy Energy+ will cost approximately $150. Currently, the pair isn’t available for pre-order on Adidas’ official website. However, interested buyers can place pre-orders with third-party retailers.
It appears that Sunday was a good day for Curry to unveil Adidas’ new basketball pair as he led the Warriors to a dominant 111-85 victory over the Timberwolves. The four-time NBA Champion led Golden State with 26 points, 2 rebounds, 7 assists, and 4 steals in 28 minutes.
Stepping up to the occasion to provide support for Curry was Moses Moody. Ever since Jimmy Butler III tore his right ACL, this sparked numerous concerns for Golden State. Many believed the team would struggle with Curry as its only star.
However, Moody proved to be an effective duo for Steph on Sunday, posting 19 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 assists. Four other Warriors players were in double figures as they also played their part in securing the victory over Minnesota.
Brandin Podziemski had an all-around performance, putting up 12 points, 6 assists, 5 rebounds, and 4 steals, while De’Anthony Melton added 12 points, 4 assists, and 3 rebounds. The veteran Al Horford also did all that he could, providing 10 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, and 1 block. As for Will Richard, he added 10 points and 3 steals.
For the Timberwolves, Anthony Edwards put up an impressive fight and was the top scorer with a game-high 32 points, 11 rebounds, and 2 assists.
