Warriors’ Injury Report: Latest on Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, Jimmy Butler III, Al Horford, Others

The Golden State Warriors are one beat-up team as they head into Saturday night's clash with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Who's going to be out?

The Golden State Warriors have not exactly started the 2025-26 NBA season in roaring fashion, which may surprise many NBA fans. At 11-12 overall heading into a Saturday night showdown against Donovan Mitchell and the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Warriors wanted to have all of their players available.

Well, the Warriors are looking more like a M*A*S*H unit at this time.

Who’s Injured for the Golden State Warriors?

Looking at the injury list on Saturday morning ahead of Golden State’s game, it’s pretty lengthy. Let’s start with guard Stephen Curry, who is out with a quadriceps injury for the Warriors, who are in third place in the Pacific Division.

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr did say, according to a report from Sam Gordon of the San Francisco Chronicle, after a Warriors’ loss on Tuesday to defending NBA champion Oklahoma City, that Curry was going to miss at least three more games. That, of course, would include Saturday’s showdown with Cleveland.

Forward Draymond Green, who is dealing with a foot injury, is listed as questionable for the Warriors. What about forward Jimmy Butler III? With a knee injury, Butler is also listed as questionable. Green and Butler are also listed as day-to-day on the team’s injury report.

Center Al Horford has been ruled out for the Cavaliers game as he’s trying to overcome right sciatic nerve irritation. Also ruled out on Saturday is forward Alex Toohey, who’s trying to get back on the court, but he is currently dealing with a knee injury.

But wait, there’s more when it comes to the injury bug hitting Golden State. Shooting guard Seth Curry, who has been dealing with a toe injury, is listed as questionable and day-to-day by the club. Guard De’Anthony Melton is undergoing left knee injury management right now and he, too, is listed as questionable along with a day-to-day status, too.

Golden State is currently in eighth place in the Western Conference standings, 11 games behind the conference-leading Thunder. As for the Cavaliers, they come into Saturday night’s game with a 14-10 overall record, and they, too, are in eighth place in the Eastern Conference. They are in second place in the NBA’s Central Division.

The Cavaliers will be without guards Sam Merrill and Max Strus, along with center Jarrett Allen and forward Larry Nance Jr., when they hit the hardwood at Rocket Arena in Cleveland. So, it looks like a battle of the walking wounded will go down on Saturday night.
