San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama appeared at Fanatics Fest New York on Saturday, June 21, alongside other sporting icons such as LeBron James, Tom Brady, Kevin Durant, and Eli Manning, where he had a pretty funny moment with Twitch streamer Kai Cenat that went viral on social media.
Cenat appeared with many other entertainment figures at the showcase, with the likes of Spike Lee, Travis Scott, and Jay-Z appearing at the New York event, appearing on a stage show with Brady, James, Maverick Carter, and Wembanyama.

Cenat went viral with multiple clips, including a hilarious moment between him and Wembanyama as the 5’3″ streamer stood side by side with the NBA giant.

Going live before the stage event, Cenat approached Wembanyama during his stream. The Spurs’ power forward towered over Cenat at 7’3″. Cenat had to physically crane his neck to speak with him.
“Wemby bro, how do you get tall bro?” Cenat asked when getting a first glimpse at Wembanyama. To which, Wembanyama said, “Man, it’s the vegetables, you gotta eat your veggies.” Fans went crazy over the interaction.

After this, Cenat went on stage with Wembanyama and others gathered there. Cenat could not hold back his excitement.
“I’m not even gonna lie, Maverick, forget all that. I’m with LeBron James!” Cenat said before shaking James’ hand. “I tried to hold it in chat, but I’m not going to act like I’m not next to Tom Brady, LeBron James,” Cenat said while on his Twitch feed. “I can’t lie, I don’t even know how I’m here now.”
During the event, Cenat also fulfilled the lifelong dream of his friend and streamer that he grew up watching, Cash Nasty. Nasty, a 2K streamer, met his childhood hero in an emotional moment. Nasty got a chance to meet the Lakers’ superstar prior to the show.

That, however, was not the end of the moments Cenat shared with James. There is a future stream planned that could break the Internet. Cenat managed to earn the Lakers’ legend’s approval for a potential stream at the AMP house in the future.
“For sure, it’s time we got to tap in,” James said as Cenat questioned him. While no official date or announcement has been made yet, it can be expected that James will become the next in a long line of infamous guests to appear on Cenat’s streams.
With A-list guests like Kevin Hart and John Cena appearing on his streams, Cenat has become a cultural icon in recent months. He uses his streams to create trending moments and lifelong memories for others, as seen on Saturday at Fanatics Fest, as he continues to rapidly grow his fanbase.
