Stephen Curry and Ayesha Curry’s son, Canon, turned seven on Wednesday, July 2. The loving parents couldn’t be more proud to see their little munchkin growing up, reflecting the parents’ values and personalities more and more with each passing day.
Ayesha penned an emotional note for her son, showering him with blessings and love.
Ayesha Curry & Steph Curry Celebrate Canon’s Birthday Emotionally
Any parent would agree that their children just grow up faster than expected. They blink, and their child has grown up beyond their beliefs. This is the same case with Ayesha Curry, who couldn’t help but hold her emotions.
She took to Instagram and posted a photo of Canon, doing the Superman pose in a silver spacesuit. In the caption, she wrote, “Our Canon Jack turned SEVEN today! 7?! I truly don’t know where the time goes. He is the most, passionate, empathetic and head strong human being I’ve ever met. I can’t believe God blessed me with the privilege of being his mama.”

Canon can be seen pretending to flow over the couch, with pumpkins decorated behind him, around what looks like patio furniture. Highly likely that the picture was taken right around fall, reflecting warmth.
Even Steph Curry did not shy away from expressing his feelings on Instagram. Wishing Canon, he wrote, “My guy CWJC is 7! Laughs, jokes, country & Patwa accents and 1000 “look what I can do”’s a day. We love you Young Wolf.”
Canon Humbles Ayesha Curry
In an older interview with Haute Beauty, Ayesha had a funny story to share about Canon. She stated that she shared a sweet and delightful relationship where he always managed to lift her spirits.
While her daughters, Riley and Ryan, manage to make their mother feel beautiful, it is the other way around with Canon. “My girls especially make me feel beautiful,” the Sweet July founder gushed. She continued, “They’re loaded with compliments, and that’s always such a cup filler-upper. My husband, too, always fills me with sweet nothings and compliments. He always makes me feel beautiful.”
Canon, on the other hand, does quite the opposite. He literally slam dunks his mother, leaving her with her mouth wide open at times!
“My six-year-old son (Canon) will humble you real fast,” she laughingly explained. “He’s still at the phase of brutal, innocent honesty. He’s done this three times now: he’ll run in the kitchen and be like, ‘Mom, are you having another baby? Your belly looks big.’ I’m like, ‘No, I’m not.’”
It is truly funny and awe-inspiring to see the NBA’s favorite couple to see raising their four children. Fans hope for more such emotional moments in the future.
