Stephen Curry and Wife Ayesha Make Appearance at Daughter’s Volleyball Tournament Before Historic NBA Milestone

Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry knows how to balance his NBA career with family time. While he has led the Warriors to 10 wins in their last 11 games, he has also made time to be a supportive father. Curry and his wife, Ayesha, were recently spotted cheering on their daughter, Riley, at her volleyball tournament.

Curry recently took a break from putting on a show on the basketball court to watch his daughter, Riley, at her volleyball tournament.

Stephen and Ayesha were seen holding their younger children, Canon and baby Caius, making it a true family affair.

This clip showed a different side of the NBA legend—one that highlights his dedication to his children beyond his basketball duties.

While Curry continues to dominate in the NBA, Riley is carving her own path in sports. She plays volleyball for the Academy Volleyball Club in Redwood City, California, and she recently garnered attention when her team won the championship at the NorCal Winter Classic 2025 — the largest volleyball tournament in Northern California.

Curry, a four-time NBA champion, is having another stellar season, averaging 24.5 points, 6.2 assists, and 4.4 rebounds per game. The sixth-seeded Warriors have been red-hot as of late, with the midseason trade for Jimmy Butler III rejuvenating their season.

Curry’s Historic Milestone Leaves His Wife and Mom Awe

Curry’s appearance at Riley’s volleyball game came shortly before the Warriors secured a key victory over the Detroit Pistons, as Golden State jockeys for a better seed in the Western Conference. During this game, Curry also reached a historic milestone, surpassing 25,000 career points in the third quarter.

Ayesha and Stephen’s mother, Sonya, were courtside as the Chase Center crowd erupted in celebration. The scoreboard lit up to acknowledge the achievement, and Ayesha and Sonya were emotional as Stephen joined the NBA’s exclusive club.

As the NBA’s all-time leading three-point shooter, Curry now has 25,017 career points, putting him just behind Jerry West and in the top-25 scorers in league history.

Recently, he stunned fans with a jaw-dropping 56-point performance against the Orlando Magic—the fourth-highest mark of his career. His 12 three-pointers in that game tied his second-most ever, helping the Warriors extend their winning streak to five games at the time.

Even at 36 years old, Curry continues to shatter records, proving that he remains one of the league’s most dangerous scorers.

Curry recently revealed why he continues to play in his 16th NBA season when he’s already a four-time champion and an all-time great.

“Somebody asked me this summer, ‘What are you still playing for?’ [Number five]. That’s literally the only thing you’re playing for…” Curry said of winning his fifth ring.

“I like where we’re at right now. I think we have what it takes to do it.”

But beyond his fiery competitiveness on the court, Curry never misses a chance to support his children and be present for their special moments, too.
