Golden State Warriors superstar Steph Curry has four children with his wife, Ayesha. During their honeymoon, they decided to name their first son Canon. Funnily enough, the two oldest of Curry’s children were girls, Riley Elizabeth and Ryan Carson.
Their third child and the oldest boy, Canon, was born in 2018. Canon is a character, as Curry has disclosed that he is the most social of his four children. Curry’s wife has shown her oldest son’s basketball talents at a relatively young age.

It seems basketball is not the only talent Curry’s oldest son is good at. Jackson Haltom, the social media manager of the sports and entertainment group Dude Perfect, shared a video of Canon’s amazing bottle flip and its aftermath.
“He clipframed me,” Haltom captioned the Instagram story with two crying emojis. In the video, Canon threw a water bottle at a rack from a distance. Surprisingly, the bottle stood upright on the rack.
Impressed by his achievement, Canon showed off and seemed to go to Haltom for a celebratory handshake, but pulled his hand back. Fortunately, Halton fell for the trick, and his reaction was priceless. Curry was also there, and he couldn’t stop laughing.

Canon recently celebrated his seventh birthday on July 2. Both Curry and his wife shared Instagram posts on the occasion.
Curry shared a three-snap post, captioning it, “My guy CWJC is 7! Laughs, jokes, country and Patwa accents, and 1000 “look what I can do”’s a day. We love you, Young Wolf.” Canon is in a black shirt and cream shorts in the pictures, taken beside a road. The 7-year-old strikes different poses in the pictures, showcasing his funny side.
Curr’s wife’s Instagram post was a snap of Canon in Ghostbuster attire. “Our Canon Jack turned SEVEN today! 7?! I truly don’t know where the time goes. He is the most, passionate, empathetic and head strong human being I’ve ever met. I can’t believe God blessed me with the privilege of being his mama. 🥰🥹,” she captioned the post.
Canon was born prematurely, a month early. His middle name, Jack, is a tribute to Curry’s father, Dell. Before naming him Canon, his parents thought of the name Wardell Stephen Curry III for him.
The name Canon translates to “Young Wolf” in French, so Stephen used it in the captions. France is Curry’s favorite place to vacation. His wife has already shared that her husband considers her family like a wolf pack. Canon, his mother, and infant brother Caius Chai were in the stands when Team USA won the gold medal at the Summer Olympics in Paris.
