Stephen Curry Reveals 4 NBA Legends He Wants by His Side During His Hall of Fame Induction: ‘Those Are My Guys’

Stephen Curry revealed four NBA legends who he wants beside him at his Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

Arguably the greatest shooter to ever play the game and one of the best to ever grace an NBA court, Stephen Curry will one day be in the Hall of Fame. He still has plenty left in the tank, though, so don’t expect him to hang up his signature sneakers anytime soon.

However, eventually it will happen, and when it does, Curry has mentioned who he wants by his side at his induction ceremony.

“My Guys” Stephen Curry Names Who He Wants Beside Him at His Hall of Fame Induction

The Golden State Warriors were described as a “fading dynasty” by their head coach, Steve Kerr, just two weeks ago. Essentially writing off their chances of competing with the OKC Thunder as they sit 19-18. Some may appreciate his candor and pragmatism, while others will see it as defeatist. One person who indeed isn’t fading is the incredible Curry.

Seen by many as the face of the NBA, he continues to make history and put on a show like no other. Averaging 28.7 points per game, currently up from his previous two seasons. He’ll need a bit more help from his teammates to make the Warriors a force again.

Whilst it’s hard to imagine an NBA landscape without Curry, he will retire sooner rather than later as he approaches his 38th birthday this year. When he does decide to hang it up, the next stop for him will be the Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame in Springfield, Massachusetts.

When asked by legend Vince Carter, who Curry would like to sit beside him at his induction, he named Carter, along with three other legends. “Steve Nash, Reggie Miller, and Ray Allen are the names at the top of my head. Those are my guys.” Naming four legends of the game that helped shape Curry.

When talking about what he described as his “Basketball mortality,” at this late stage of his career, he spoke of his urgency: “To embrace the fact there are less days ahead on the court than behind…there’s a sense of urgency at the moment because I still have a lot to prove on the court. I don’t want to get too ahead of myself.”

This speaks to Curry’s elite mentality, that he feels he has anything left to prove, with four championships and all his accolades. Yet the greatest to ever play, such as Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant, always found new ways to challenge themselves and push their greatness to new heights. Curry seems to have a similar mentality.
