In the fourth quarter, a spectator rushed onto the court and held up his cellphone, seemingly attempting to snap a selfie with Spurs superstar Victor Wembanyama, garnering widespread condemnation.

Though security quickly reached the disruptive fan and ushered him away, ABC opted to show a replay of him smiling while struggling to capture his brief on-court glory.
Hoop Central’s X account not only shared a clip of the fan’s interference but also highlighted Wembanyama’s apparent entertainment.

ClutchPoints’ Brett Siegel indicated that someone may have profited from the incident by placing a prop bet on a fan reaching the court.

Meanwhile, ESPN’s Madelyn Burke expressed confusion over the fan’s intent.
