Snoop Dogg Goes Viral for Hilarious Live Commentary on Warriors HC Steve Kerr’s Ejection vs. Clippers

Following the Warriors' loss against the Clippers, Snoop Dogg went viral for a hilarious comment on Steve Kerr's ejection.

There’s no end to the Golden State Warriors’ trouble this season. And though some issues are easily fixable, the team, including head coach Steve Kerr, has been under scrutiny for wasting Stephen Curry’s final few years in the league.

Of course, a troubled season warrants some frustration, which ultimately led to Kerr being ejected from the court. However, Snoop Dogg, who was commenting on the game, made perfect use of a serious situation to generate some laughs.

Snoop Dogg Generates Some Laughs After Warriors HC’s Ejection vs. the LA Clippers

On Monday night, the Warriors played and lost to the Los Angeles Clippers (103-102). Kerr, supporting his team from the sidelines, was visibly frustrated as calls and plays disrupted their tempo.

The veteran coach practically erupted during the fourth quarter, charging at the referees after Curry was called for a foul. As Kerr screamed, Gary Payton and Brandin Podziemski held him back.
Kerr was slapped with two technical fouls and eventually ejected from the court while he stormed off the floor.

Dogg, who was a special guest on the broadcast team with Reggie Miller and Terry Gannon, made the most of the unique situation. And with the rapper joining in for a tripleheader game night, fans were tuned in to see what he has to say.

“Uh oh! Steve’s going to get thrown out!” Snoop noted during the moment. “Get him out of there! Get him out of there! Back him up, back him up, G.P. Back him up! Steve’s ready to fire on him. Steve’s backing Inglewood right now. Inglewood! Get him, Steve! You’re in Inglewood, Steve! The Arizona Wildcat came out.”

Fans were impressed with Snoop’s broadcasting; the clip of his commentary went viral soon after the game. Many even asked the rapper to return, suggesting that the NBA capitalize on his humor and skills as the NBA playoffs approach.

Dogg Had Fans Laughing After Commenting on Jimmy Butler III’s Skills

Throughout the game, Kerr wasn’t the only one who got some hilarious reactions out of Dogg.

During one play, Jimmy Butler III snatched the ball from Kawhi Leonard, leading the artist to focus on Butler’s “good” hands.

“Oh, good hands, good hands. They’ve been ripping him all day. Cookies and cream, they opened up a cookie shop on him!” Snoop said.

Having said that, the Warriors were understandably frustrated with a narrow loss against the Clippers. The team needs to win closer to the postseason, hopefully securing a spot in the bottom tier of the 2026 playoffs.

The Warriors, currently at a 19-18 win-loss record, are ranked eighth in the Western Conference.
