Things got a little chippy early on Friday night as the Oklahoma City Thunder was duking it out with the Denver Nuggets in NBA action. The Thunder’s Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was called for a technical foul after throwing the ball at the Nuggets’ Nikola Jokić.
On replays, Gilgeous-Alexander was shown trying to get position as Jokić guarded him. When Gilgeous-Alexander felt like Jokić pushed him, the Thunder star just threw the ball at Jokić. Gilgeous-Alexander was then hit with a technical foul.

Fullcourtpass’ account on X shared a slow-motion clip of the action between the Thunder and the Nuggets’ player. As the clip rolls along, Gilgeous-Alexander is clearly upset over the call. He wanted a foul called against Jokić, which didn’t happen.

Legion Hoops’ account on X, which is run by Jacob Ortiz and follows NBA news, posted the clip of Gilgeous-Alexander throwing the ball. The account posted online, “SGA got a tech 3 minutes into the game for throwing the ball at Jokic. The MVPs are battling.”
ClutchPoints’ account on X also shared the clip and wrote, “Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was given a technical foul after throwing the ball at Nikola Jokic”.

Oklahoma City Brasil, which is a “Perfil brasileiro dedicado ao OKC Thunder,” which translates into English as “Brazilian profile dedicated to the OKC Thunder”, posted on X, “Shai e Jokic”.
Courtside Buzz, which states on X that it is the elite basketball brand on social media, posted, “SHAI T’D UP: Nikola Jokic fouled Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, then Shai threw the ball at Jokic to knock it out of bounds, & Shai got a technical foul. Thoughts?”

Late in the third quarter, as the Thunder are hosting the Nuggets in Oklahoma City on Friday night, the Nuggets are up 62-57. It’s a great NBA game featuring two NBA MVPs in Gilgeous-Alexander and Jokić. Both teams are battling for supremacy in the NBA’s Western Conference right now.
NBA fans probably will keep an eye on this game to see if Gilgeous-Alexander gets another technical.
