Bronny James returned to the G League for the South Bay Lakers on Monday, March 24, in dominant fashion. LeBron James’ son was the reason behind the Lakers’ victory over the Santa Cruz Warriors.
After his career-high outing, Bronny’s mother couldn’t hide her excitement as Savannah James shared her joy at her son’s victorious performance on the court.

Bronny has been on a tear after registering his career-best against the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday, March 20; he also carried the same form in the G League.
In a closely contested affair, Bronny was active on both sides of the court. The 20-year-old registered 39 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, and four steals on the night.
“I like to be available whenever the time comes, whether that’s off the ball, on the ball, screening, cutting… I like to be a threat wherever I am on the court,” James said after the game.
His mother took to Instagram and posted a highlight of the game on her story, featuring Bronny driving to the paint and scoring a bucket while taking on two of the Warriors’ defenders. Savannah added a happy face emoji to her story to show her emotions.

However, it must have been a bittersweet occasion for the James family since the Los Angeles Lakers lost their fourth game in a row on Monday against the Orlando Magic and are still chasing a playoff spot.
Bronny James’ Coach Praises the Point Guard After Impressive Outing
Much has been made of Bronny being drafted by the Lakers over several months. However, the youngster responds to criticism through his work in court. After back-to-back terrific performances, there’s no doubt that the South Bay Lakers head coach Zach Guthrie is impressed with his point guard.
“Credit to him,” he said after the game. “He had that great game in Milwaukee with the LA Lakers, and to come here and get some more reps with South Bay, it’s fantastic for him… He kept us organized. He put a lot of rim pressure on them for us offensively, he guarded well defensively, and he executed the small details of the game.”
The South Bay Lakers will play the return leg of their series against the Santa Cruz Warriors on Tuesday, March 25, and all eyes will be once again on Bronny James.
