It’s the final weekend before the NBA regular season begins, which means you’re coming here for your fantasy basketball drafts.
Should you draft Paul George this season? Here’s the latest outlook, projections, and rankings for the Philadelphia 76ers Small Forward.

Should You Draft Paul George in Fantasy Basketball?
Paul George endured an injury-plagued first season in Philadelphia, in which his statistical production dipped significantly. After averaging at least 21.5 points per game in nine straight campaigns, the nine-time All-Star posted his lowest scoring output since the 2014-15 season.
George averaged 16.2 points, 5.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 1.8 steals, and 2.3 3-pointers per game on 43.0% shooting from the field across 41 appearances. He was shut down in mid-March due to left adductor and left knee issues and later underwent left knee surgery in July to address an injury sustained during an offseason workout.
While the 35-year-old has resumed team activities, including live three-on-three work, he remains without a firm return timeline. Having played 56 or fewer contests in five of the last six seasons, and possibly being over the hill, George represents a high-risk fantasy investment. That said, if he bounces back in Year 16, he could be one of this season’s biggest steals, with him projected to be selected in Rounds 6 to 7 in standard formats.
