WATCH: Nikola Jokić Shares Adorable Moment With Daughter During Crucial Game 6 Clash vs. OKC

Before Nikola Jokić's most crucial game of the season, he shared a precious moment with his daughter Ognjena to raise his spirits.

Game 7, here we come. Nikola Jokić and the Denver Nuggets clawed back to win Game 6 and force a decider against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Joker, with his languid style, put up a vintage performance to take them home. They defeated the Thunder with a 119-107 scoreline at the rocking Ball Arena.

Moreover, his family members were at the Ball Arena to support Jokić and the Nuggets and cheer them on to the next round. Before the game, an engrossing moment captured the lighter side of Jokić before a tense battle on the court.

Jokić Is a Complete Family Man

Before the game, the Nuggets players did their customary stretches and prep work to get going. At that moment, Jokić’s daughter, Ognjena, his biggest support system, went into the corridor and hugged her daddy.

Jokić embraced her daughter for a few seconds, playfully sharing a precious father-daughter moment that caught his teammates’ eyes.

Jokić goes to Serbia to be with his family whenever he’s not playing basketball. He married his loving wife, Natalija, and kept their pregnancy a secret. Ognjena was born in September 2021, and the couple often shared pictures of their daughter. The couple also has a son born in November 2024.

Her name means fiery in Serbian, and she’s like a typical caring daughter who cherishes her father to bits.

Ognjena has attended many of Jokić’s games, showing her backing from the stands. In March 2023, Natalija shared a picture of Ognjena holding Jokić’s 100th triple-double ball. She also attended the 2023 NBA Finals as the Nuggets won the championship.

Likewise, during the MVP trophy presentation, the Joker got her daughter to the court and received the Bill Russell Finals MVP Trophy. With his daughter attending the most crucial games, she witnessed an exceptional performance in Game 6.

A Series for the Ages

When the Nuggets came into the game facing elimination, they showed their championship pedigree to even the proceedings. The Joker had a storming match, scoring 29 points, grabbing 14 boards, and dishing out eight assists to keep the ball moving.

He had a ridiculous no-look pass in the last quarter, which took the fans out of their seats. Getting two steals and a block justified the defensive side of his game. The Joker had the last laugh in Game 6.

Game 7 heads to the Paycom Center after a few days of rest. The Nuggets have the championship-winning experience and the momentum to keep going.

With the No. 1 seed in the East crashing out, the Thunder hopes to keep its championship-winning hopes alive.
