OG Anunoby has been a huge piece for the New York Knicks over the last few seasons.
The former Indiana Hoosiers star is currently averaging 16.6 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.7 steals per contest while shooting 47.9% from the field and 37.0% from three-point range in 41 games.
Jalen Brunson Made His Feelings Clear About OG Anunoby
At All-Star weekend, Knicks star Jalen Brunson was asked about his teammate.
Brunson (h/t New York Basketball): “He’s unique. Great teammate. He’s a funny dude, one of the funniest teammates I’ve had. He’s a difference maker when he’s on the court.”
Anunoby was the 23rd pick in the 2017 NBA Draft after two seasons of college basketball.
He spent the first six and a half seasons of his career with the Toronto Raptors.
His career averages are 13.2 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.3 steals per contest while shooting 47.5% from the field and 37.5% from three-point range in 533 games.
Anunoby played a major role in the Knicks reaching the second round of the 2024 NBA playoffs (and the Eastern Conference finals in 2025).
He averaged 16.3 points and 2.0 steals per contest during the 2025 postseason.

As for Brunson, he has established himself as one of the best 25 players in the NBA.

He spent the first four seasons of his career with the Dallas Mavericks before signing with the Knicks in the summer of 2022.
