Ball was traded to the Cavs over the offseason (via the Bulls).
He had come into the night with averages of 5.4 points, 4.7 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 1.4 steals per contest while shooting 28.8% from the field and 25.0% from three-point range in 21 games.
Ball was the second pick in the 2017 NBA Draft after one season of college basketball at UCLA.
He has also spent time playing for the New Orleans Pelicans and Los Angeles Lakers.

With Friday’s loss, the Cavs are now 15-14 in 29 games, which has them as the ninth seed in the Eastern Conference.
