NBA World Reacts To Joel Embiid’s Performance In 76ers-Timberwolves Game

Joel Embiid played 19 minutes against the Timberwolves.

On Friday night, the Philadelphia 76ers played their final game of the preseason when they beat the Minnesota Timberwolves (at home) by a score of 126-110.

Joel Embiid finished the game with 14 points, seven rebounds, eight assists and three steals while shooting 5/10 from the field and 2/4 from three-point range in 19 minutes of playing time.

Embiid only appeared in 19 games during the 2024-25 season.

He finished the year with averages of 23.8 points, 8.2 rebounds and 4.5 assists per contest while shooting 44.4% from the field and 29.9% from three-point range.

The 76ers will play their first game of the 2025-26 season on Wednesday night when they visit Jaylen Brown and the Boston Celtics.
