Oklahoma City Thunder Injury Report for Game 2

Oklahoma City heads into Tuesday’s Game 2 riding a wave of confidence—and for good reason. Coach Mark Daigneault’s squad delivered a defensive clinic in Game 1, forcing 22 turnovers and holding Memphis to just 80 points.

It wasn’t just a win—it was a statement. Leading that charge was second-year forward Jalen Williams, who filled the stat sheet with 20 points, six assists, five rebounds, and relentless defensive energy.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander may not have had his most explosive scoring night (15 points), but he made his presence felt, picking his spots and impacting the game in subtle ways.

He’s also the kind of player who tends to follow a quiet performance with a loud one—expect an aggressive start from him in Game 2. Chet Holmgren flirted with a double-double, while Isaiah Hartenstein contributed his usual brand of gritty, all-around paint play.

The Thunder are dealing with a few injury concerns, but when the entire roster is clicking like this, it hardly seems to matter.

Thunder injured players: Ousmane Dieng (Out, left calf strain), Nikola Topic (Out, left knee surgery).

Thunder Predicted Lineup: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Lu Dort, Jalen Williams, Chet Holmgren, Isaiah Hartenstein.

Memphis Grizzlies Injury Report for Game 2

Memphis, on the other hand, looks like it’s running low on gas—or worse, hope. Game 1 was rough from the opening tip. After falling behind by double digits early, the Grizzlies never found their footing. Their energy wasn’t enough, their shooting was off across the board, and their rhythm never clicked.

Ja Morant did what he could, finishing with 17 points and 4 assists, but it wasn’t nearly enough to carry a sputtering squad. Desmond Bane, typically a dependable scorer, managed just 9 points and failed to register an assist. Jaren Jackson Jr. was largely invisible, and while Zach Edey pulled down boards, he couldn’t shift the game’s momentum.

Injuries continue to haunt Memphis, with Brandon Clarke (right knee PCL sprain) and Jaylen Wells (right wrist fracture, facial laceration, concussion protocol) still sidelined. At this point, the Grizzlies look as bruised mentally as they are physically.

Grizzlies’ injured players: Brandon Clarke (Out, right knee PCL sprain) and Jaylen Wells (Out, right wrist fracture, facial laceration, concussion protocol).

Grizzlies’ Predicted Lineup:  Ja Morant, Scotty Pippen Jr., Desmond Bane, Jaren Jackson Jr., and Zach Edey.

Tip-off for Game 2 is set for 6:30 PM CT at Paycom Center, and Oklahoma City fans are ready to bring the noise.

With the crowd decked out in blue and the Thunder dialed in, it’s up to Memphis to punch back or pack it up. If OKC strikes early again, this series might not see a Game 5.
