NBA Legend Magic Johnson Reacts To Warriors-Lakers Game

Magic Johnson sent out a post after Tuesday's game. The Los Angeles Lakers lost to the Golden State Warriors.

On Tuesday night, the Los Angeles Lakers played their first game of the new season when they hosted the Golden State Warriors.

The Lakers lost by a score of 119-109.

Magic Johnson Reacts

After the game, Basketball Hall of Famer (and Lakers legend) Magic Johnson sent out several posts.

Johnson’s first post: “I went to the @Lakers game last night and watched my Lakers get beat by the Warriors 119-109.”

Johnson’s second post: “The two Golden State superstars put on a performance – Jimmy Butler had with 31 points and Curry added 23, but Lakers superstar Luka Doncic stole the show with 43 points, 12 rebounds, and 9 assists in a losing effort.”

Johnson is often vocal on social media after the Lakers play in big games.

Fans enjoy seeing his posts due to the fact that he is one of the best ten players of all time (and led the franchise to five titles).

Despite the loss, superstar forward Luka Doncic went off for 43 points, 12 rebounds, nine assists, two steals and one block while shooting 17/27 from the field in 41 minutes of playing time.

The Lakers are currently playing without four-time NBA Champion LeBron James.

Following their loss to Golden State, they will remain at home to host Julius Randle and the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday night.

The Lakers and Warriors will have their next matchup on February 7 (in Los Angeles).
