‘Did the Jokic Brothers Beat Him Up?’ – NBA Fans Cook Up Theories Over Aaron Gordon’s Bruised Face Before Round 1 Playoffs

Aaron Gordon talked to reporters with a black eye and a fat lip, causing fans to come to some pretty hilarious theories as to what happened to him.

The Denver Nuggets will need all hands on deck to win another title. That means everyone must be on their A-game, from Nikola Jokić to Aaron Gordon.

However, before the Nuggets’ first game in their playoff series against the Los Angeles Clippers, Gordon’s face looked a little roughed up while talking with reporters, which led to some speculation from Nuggets fans.

Nuggets Fans Speculate on What Happened to Aaron Gordon’s Face

While Gordon was talking to Nuggets reporters, his black eye and fat lip were hard to miss.

This led to some rather comical theories from NBA fans, and not just the ones who root for the Nuggets. One fan, in particular, asked, “Did the Jokic brothers beat him up?”

That’s a nod to the fact that the three-time MVP has two brothers known for being willing to throw down if anyone tries to get physical with the Nuggets star.

Another fan floated a theory that would make some sense based on Gordon’s history, saying, “A dog attack him again damn.”

This comment was in reference to when Gordon suffered injuries to his hand and face after being attacked by his own dog. What makes it even sadder is that the attack happened on Christmas Day 2023.

Meanwhile, another fan made a reference to a controversial move by the Nuggets, suggesting, “Got a new coach, and now the team is beating him up.”

This comment is in obvious reference to Denver’s decision to surprisingly fire head coach Michael Malone just days before the playoffs were about to start.

Before everyone truly wonders if Gordon really got into a fight, the truth is his face looks like that because he took an elbow during the Nuggets’ regular-season finale against the Houston Rockets.

It makes sense that fans would be concerned about Gordon, given that the Nuggets have entered the most crucial part of the season. Luckily, this isn’t anything serious, and it shouldn’t stop him and Denver’s other players from giving it their all.

Nevertheless, what does make these theories hilarious on some level is that they are based on things that are actually true, even if they aren’t the actual reason behind what happened to Gordon’s face.

On a more serious note, Gordon hinted that the postseason is more physical, which is definitely true. When it’s all said and done, Gordon might end up with a more beat-up body than when it started.
