NBA Fans React To Zion Williamson’s Performance In Pelicans-Grizzlies Game

Zion Williamson played 33 minutes in Wednesday's game. The New Orleans Pelicans lost to the Memphis Grizzlies.

On Wednesday evening, the New Orleans Pelicans played their first game of the 2025-26 season against the Memphis Grizzlies.

The Pelicans lost by a score of 128-122.

Zion Williamson finished the loss with 27 points, nine rebounds, five assists and five steals while shooting 6/14 from the field and 3/7 from the three-point range in 35 minutes of playing time.

Williamson was the first pick in the 2019 NBA Draft after one season of college basketball at Duke.

He has spent all six years of his pro career in New Orleans.
