Russell Westbrook and the Sacramento Kings lost to the Memphis Grizzlies (at home).

On Sunday night, the Sacramento Kings hosted the Memphis Grizzlies in California.

The Kings lost by a score of 115-107.

Russell Westbrook finished the loss with three points, six rebounds, seven assists and two steals while shooting 1/10 from the field and 0/4 from three-point range in 20 minutes of playing time.

Westbrook signed with the Kings before the start of the 2025-26 season.

He is averaging 13.6 points, 7.1 rebounds, 6.8 assists and 1.2 steals per contest while shooting 42.7% from the field and 37.6% from three-point range in 21 games.

The Kings have had a very tough start to the season, as they are the 14th seed in the Western Conference with a 5-16 record in 21 games.

They are in the middle of a three-game losing streak (and 3-7 in ten games at home).

Following their loss to the Grizzlies, the Kings will play their next game on Wednesday night when they visit Kevin Durant and the Houston Rockets in Texas.

As for the Grizzlies, they are the ninth seed in the Western Conference with a 9-12 record in 21 games.

They are in the middle of a three-game winning streak (and 5-6 in 11 games on the road).

Following the Kings, the Grizzlies will play their next game on Tuesday night when they visit the San Antonio Spurs in Texas.

Westbrook is in his 18th NBA season (out of UCLA).

The future Hall of Famer has also played for the Thunder, Lakers, Rockets, Clippers, Nuggets and Wizards.
