Porter Jr. came into the night with averages of 20.8 points, 8.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists per contest while shooting 46.3% from the field and 33.3% from three-point range in six games.
The 2023 NBA Champion was traded to the Nets (via the Denver Nuggets) over the summer.

The Nets are are 1-7 in their first eight games, which has them as the 15th seed in the Eastern Conference.
They will play their next game on Friday night when they return home to host the Detroit Pistons at Barclays Center.
