On Wednesday night, Klay Thompson and the Dallas Mavericks played the Los Angeles Lakers in Las Vegas.
The Mavs won by a score of 121-94 to finish the preseason with a 3-1 record in four games.
Thompson finished the victory with 12 points, one rebound and one assist while shooting 4/11 from the field and 2/6 from the three-point range in just 18 minutes of playing time.

Thompson is going into his second year playing for the Mavs.
He finished last season with averages of 14.0 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.0 assists per contest while shooting 41.2% from the field and 39.1% from the three-point range in 72 games.
The Mavs will open up the 2025-26 regular season on October 22 when they host Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs in Dallas.
They are coming off a year where they lost to the Memphis Grizzlies in the play-in tournament (so they missed the 2025 NBA playoffs).
