Despite the loss, All-Star point guard Jalen Brunson finished with 33 points, three rebounds and 11 assists while shooting 12/21 from the field in 37 minutes of playing time.

Brunson came into the night with averages of 28.0 points, 3.5 rebounds and 6.4 assists per contest while shooting 46.8% from the field and 36.3% from three-point range.

He is in his fourth season playing for New York.

With the loss, the Knicks dropped to 9-6 in 15 games, which has them as the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference.

They will play their next game on Monday night when they visit the Brooklyn Nets at Barclays Center.
