What Time Does the 2026 All-Star Game Start? How to Watch After Schedule Change

Following the recent major schedule change to the 2026 All-Star Game, the new look schedule has the 2026 event taking place in the afternoon. The celebrations will start on Friday with the Castrol Rising Stars challenge, before the main event on Sunday.

  • Date: February 15, 2026
  • Time: 5:00 p.m. EST
  • Location: Los Angeles, California, Intuit Dome
  • Stream: NBC, Peacock

With the Main Event set to take place at 5PM Eastern Time, the NBA’s All-Star Saturday also ran at the same time yesterday due to other NBC coverage. Ahead of the game, these are the predicted rosters.

Following the announcement that both Steph Curry and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander are set to miss the All-Star Game, the Western Conference will have a different look. Currently, the starters are Luka Doncic, Victor Wembanyama, and Nikola Jokic.

Following the reveal that Gilgeous-Alexander will miss the All-Star game, NBA commissioner Adam Silver named his replacement during the week. From the World’s substitute pool, Houston Rockets’ center Alperen Şengün got the nod over Joel Embiid.

This is the second straight All-Star appearance for Şengün. This season, the Rockets’ center has averaged 20.8 points, 9.4 rebounds, and 6.3 assists per game. Following his omission from the All-Star game this year, Şengün was considered one of the biggest snubs for the roster this season.

“Durant will be in Los Angeles for his 16th All-Star Game, but for my money, Alperen Şengün was the biggest snub out there. He deserved a spot more than LeBron, going just on play the past year,” claimed NBC Sports writer Kurt Helin.

Meanwhile, named from the Eastern Conference, Jalen Brunson, Tyrese Maxey, Cade Cunningham, Jaylen Brown, and Giannis Antetokounmpo were named starters. However, the 2026 All-Star Game will take on a different approach this year.

The format of this year’s NBA  All-Star Game will not be East vs. West. Instead, it will be a clash of nations with the United States versus the rest of the world. In this format, there will be two teams made up of U.S. players and one team of international players.

Ahead of tonight’s NBA  All-Star game, viewers in the USA can stream the clash between the United States versus the rest of the world on NBC and Peacock. International viewers can watch Europe’s top stars take on the USA on Amazon Prime Video.
