Mark Cuban Admits Losing ‘Hundreds of Millions’ As Ex-Mavs Owner Humiliates Pat Dumont and Nico Harrison

Despite being in the public eye for decades, Mark Cuban has maintained his outspoken nature. The billionaire has generated mixed feelings over the years due to this trait.

However, Cuban has been caught in the midst of the Luka Doncic trade to the Los Angeles Lakers regardless of not being the owner of the Dallas Mavericks anymore. That doesn’t stop him from firing at the current management.

Mark Cuban Points Out His Losses While Taking Shots at the Mavericks Ownership

In 2023, Cuban sold his majority stake in the Mavericks to the Adelson family for more than $3 billion. However, two months after Doncic’s trade, he was caught in the blast zone. Cuban had a spat with a former Mavericks employee on Facebook, and they went back and forth on several topics.

Cuban had washed his hands of the current management in Dallas, but the former employee wasn’t satisfied. Midway through their argument, things got personal, and the former owner dug into the finances of the former employee, Galvin Mulloy.

Mulloy highlighted that money did not matter to him as much as losing Doncic has on the city and the franchise. At this point, Cuban highlighted the difference between him and the current management and ownership.

“I did every damn thing I could for 23 years. Kept prices lower than not only any nba team, but lower than college teams too. I had $2 tickets for multiple years. When I sold there were always 4k tickets under $29,” he commented.

“I made money 2 out of 23 years I was the majority owner. Lost hundreds of millions of dollars. And you kept on collecting your salary. So my $dirty dollars didn’t get a peep out of you those 23 years. Or when you got your check every two weeks. Or when you got your bonus.”

“Go back to what I said when I sold the team. I didnt want my kids and family to have to deal with people like you. I honestly got tired of the growing number of fans who became pricks on social media. People exactly like you.”

“I paid your salary. I paid you a bonus I didn’t have to give you. The Nico and the new owners do something none of us liked and you decide to try to fuck with me. Thank you for confirming I made the right decision.”

The 66-year-old has been vocal regarding Doncic’s trade, which shocked everybody in the basketball world on different occasions. However, Cuban has deleted all of his comments from the spat that took place on Facebook.
