Luka Dončić left Saturday's game between the Los Angeles Lakers and LA Clippers with an injury.

On Saturday night, the Los Angeles Lakers are playing the LA Clippers at the Intuit Dome.

Luka Dončić had 12 points, five rebounds and two assists while shooting 4/13 from the field and 1/6 from three-point range in his first 20 minutes of playing time.

Los Angeles Lakers Star Luka Dončić Exits Clippers Game With Injury

Unfortunately, Dončić has now left the game with an injury (and will not return).

Via Chris Haynes: “Los Angeles Lakers say Luka Dončić (left leg contusion) will not return to tonight’s game against the Los Angeles Clippers.”

Dončić had come into the night with excellent averages of 35.2 points, 8.8 rebounds, 9.1 assists and 1.6 steals per contest while shooting 46.3% from the field and 32.4% from three-point range in 20 games.

They entered Saturday’s showdown with the Clippers as the third seed in the Western Conference with a 19-7 record in 26 games.

On the road, the Lakers are an incredible 12-3 in 15 games.

After the Clippers, the Lakers (who have won two in a row) will play their next game on Tuesday night when they visit Devin Booker and the Suns in Phoenix.

They are coming off a season where they lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves in the first round of the 2025 NBA playoffs.

As for the Clippers, they have had a tough season.

Right now, they are the 15th seed in the Western Conference with a 6-21 record in 27 games.
