Bronny is coming off an incredible rookie year in the G League.
So far this season, he is averaging 11.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, 8.0 assists and 1.5 steals per contest while shooting 38.1% from the field and 23.1% from three-point range in two games.
At just 21, it’s good for Bronny to continue getting playing time (as opposed to riding the bench in the NBA).
With their victory over Anthony Davis and the Mavs, the Lakers improved to 14-4 in 18 games, which has them as the second seed in the Western Conference.
They are in the middle of a six-game winning streak (and 8-2 over their last ten).
Following the Pelicans, the Lakers will play their next game on Monday when they host Devin Booker and the Phoenix Suns.
It’s possible that Bronny will be called back up to the NBA before the Lakers host the Pelicans.
As for the Pelicans, they are the 15th seed in the Western Conference (last place) with a 3-16 record in 19 games.
They have gone just 1-9 over their last ten.
On Saturday night, the Pelicans will face off against Draymond Green and the Golden State Warriors at the Chase Center in San Francisco.
