Even while establishing himself as perhaps the greatest NBA player of all-time, LeBron James has also made it clear how much of a family man he is at the same time.
Because LeBron has managed to stay as good as he is for as long as he has, he has also played long enough to pave the way for his son, Bronny James, to play in the NBA. While many have been skeptical of Bronny’s place in the NBA, what can’t be denied is how much LeBron loves his son.
LeBron James Gets Real During Golf Trip With Bronny
LeBron took to his personal Instagram to share clips of him and Bronny going on a golfing trip. It was there that James had a six-word message for his father and son trip, where he shared some footage of their game on his Instagram story with the caption, “Nothing like it man! Hanging out,” with two emotional emojis and a brown heart emoji.

Regardless of how fans feel about Bronny, it is heartwarming to see that LeBron wants to spend time with his son both on and off the court. For anyone who doesn’t know, James grew up without his father involved in his life, as his mother raised him alone. That could not have been easy for either LeBron or his mother.
It can be hard for someone who grew up without a father (or was raised by a bad one) to become a good father himself. LeBron’s effort to be there for Bronny when he didn’t have that himself speaks a lot about his character. Not only does he want to spend time with his son, but he has also made it clear how much he cherishes it.
Spending time with children can be difficult for professional athletes because they spend so much time doing their jobs while ensuring they still have one. It is pretty cool to see LeBron go out of his way to make time for it.

While many will cry nepotism at Bronny’s place in the NBA, what is honestly so wrong with LeBron doing everything he can to help his son succeed in professional basketball? Because of LeBron, fans actually got to see a father and a son set foot on an NBA court together. That’s something audiences have seen in other professional sports, albeit rarely, but had never seen in the NBA.
It’s undeniably awesome to see LeBron accomplish that with Bronny, and seeing the two of them still spend time together as father and son during the summertime only makes it even better.
