DeAndre Jordan spoke about his former LA Clippers teammate Chris Paul.

Chris Paul and DeAndre Jordan were once an elite duo when they played for the LA Clippers.

Despite never getting a title, the Clippers had a very memorable team that was a consistent winner in the regular season.

Jordan is currently in the middle of his first season playing for the New Orleans Pelicans.

DeAndre Jordan Made His Feelings Clear About Chris Paul

Recently, Paul announced that he was retiring from basketball.

Via ESPN’s Shams Charania (on February 13): “Chris Paul announces he is officially retiring from basketball after 21 seasons, ending a Hall of Fame career.”

After a recent game, Jordan was asked for his thoughts on Paul (h/t Pelicans Film Room).

Jordan: “First ballot Hall of Famer. I got nothing bad to say about CP. The greatest point guard I ever played with… He helped the trajectory of my career. The words can’t even describe what he has done for me, not only as a teammate but as a friend. I’m really happy for the career he had.”

Paul was the fourth pick in the 2005 NBA Draft out of Wake Forest.

He has played for the LA Clippers, New Orleans Hornets, Houston Rockets, OKC Thunder, Phoenix Suns, Golden State Warriors and San Antonio Spurs over 21 seasons.

His career averages were 16.8 points, 4.4 rebounds, 9.2 assists and 2.0 steals per contest while shooting 46.9% from the field and 37.0% from three-point range in 1,370 games.

As for Jordan, he was the 35th pick in the 2008 NBA Draft.

In addition to the Clippers and Pelicans, he has also spent time playing for the Denver Nuggets, Los Angeles Lakers, Brooklyn Nets, Dallas Mavericks, New York Knicks and Philadelphia 76ers over 18 seasons.

The 2023 NBA Champion has career averages of 8.5 points, 9.7 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per contest while shooting 67.4% from the field in 1,114 games.
