Klay Thompson put together a solid display off the bench in the Dallas Mavericks’ 119-111 win over the Brooklyn Nets on Friday night.
And to top it off, Thompson had an incredibly hilarious interaction with his girlfriend and star hip-hop artist Megan Thee Stallion.

Thompson was productive throughout his 20 minutes of action off the bench in the Mavericks’ victory over the Nets.
He finished with a stat line of 12 points, two rebounds, and two assists. He shot 4-of-7 from the field, including 3-of-6 from beyond the arc.
Hours after the game, he went to Stallion, as she later recorded a video and posted it on social media via Instagram. In the video, they were showcasing different outfits as Thompson put one on and started dancing for her enjoyment.

The couple has been together since publicly announcing their relationship in July 2025. They garnered attention following posts on social media featuring the two of them, which now go viral whenever one of them makes a post about the other.
Thompson is going through the 15th season of his NBA career, his second with the Mavericks. He has achieved a great deal throughout his time in the league, particularly with the Golden State Warriors, where he earned five All-Star selections and won four championships.
Thompson moved on from the Warriors in the 2024 offseason, leaving for the Mavericks to begin a new chapter of his career. Progressing through his second year with the franchise at age 35, he is averaging 11 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game after 24 appearances. He is shooting 36.9% overall, including 35.7% from downtown, and 81.3% from the free-throw line.
What’s Next for Thompson and the Mavericks?
It was quite the humorous video for Thompson to be in with Stallion. As he continues to pick up the pace for the Mavericks as a productive perimeter shooter off the bench, he will strive to maintain enjoyment in his career while creating lasting memories in his personal relationships off the court.
In the meantime, he will look to help the team recover from the slow start. Dallas has a 10-16 record on the season, holding the 10th spot in the Western Conference standings. They are even with the Utah Jazz while trailing the Memphis Grizzlies by 1.5 games and the Golden State Warriors by three games.
The Mavericks will continue preparation for their upcoming matchup, which will be on the road. They face the Denver Utah Jazz on Dec. 15 at 9 p.m. ET. After that, they return home to host the Detroit Pistons on Dec. 18 at 8:30 p.m. ET.
