On Sunday evening, the New York Knicks will be in Florida to play the Miami Heat.
The Knicks are coming off a 105-95 victory (at home) over the Boston Celtics.

Karl-Anthony Towns On Injury Report
For Sunday’s showdown in Miami, the Knicks could be without one of their top players, as All-Star forward Karl-Anthony Towns is on the injury report.
Via James L. Edwards III of The Athletic (on Saturday): “Miles McBride (personal reasons) and Karl-Anthony Towns (right quad) are QUESTIONABLE for tomorrow’s game against Miami. Robinson still OUT. Hart is PROBABLE.”

Towns finished the victory over the Celtics with 26 points, 13 rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block while shooting 6/16 from the field and 4/6 from the three-point range in 33 minutes of playing time.

Towns was traded to the Knicks (via the Minnesota Timberwolves) before the start of the 2024-25 season.
He finished his first year in New York with averages of 24.4 points, 12.8 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 52.6% from the field and 42.0% from the three-point range in 72 games.
The Knicks also reached the Eastern Conference finals for the first time since the 2000 season (25 years ago).

Following the Heat, the Knicks will play their next game on Tuesday evening when they visit Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks in Wisconsin.

As for the Heat, they are 1-1 in their first two games of the season.
Following the Knicks, they will play their next game on Tuesday night when they host the Charlotte Hornets.
