Despite the loss, 2023 MVP Joel Embiid finished with 20 points, four rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block while shooting 7/14 from the field and 2/5 from three-point range in 25 minutes of playing time.

Embiid is one of the best centers of all time, but he has dealt with a lot of injuries over the previous two years.
Right now, the former Kansas star is averaging 23.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.2 blocks per contest while shooting 47.3% from the field and 23.9% from three-point range in 21 games.

With their loss to the Cavs, the 76ers dropped to 22-17 in 39 games, which has them as the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference.
They have gone 6-4 over their last ten games (and are 10-10 in 20 at home).
On Friday night, the Cavs and 76ers will play again (in Philadelphia).

On the other side, the Cavs are the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference with a 23-19 record in 42 games.
They have gone 6-4 over their last ten games (and are 9-9 in 18 on the road).

The seven-time All-Star has been to the postseason seven times (but never made the Eastern Conference finals).
