January was born on Oct. 28, 1997. She graduated in 2020 from Concordia University Texas — a private school in Austin, Texas — with a Bachelor of Science in nursing. While at Concordia, she was active in the Student Nurses Association and volunteered in the Emergency Department at Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas.
According to Andrea Slays of Starsgab, Allen and January began dating in 2016. Allen confirmed their relationship in a June 26, 2017, Instagram post celebrating their one-year anniversary with the caption, “Happy One Year @jorjan34! It’s been one year since we started dating and I wouldn’t change a moment. Love you!”
Allen hasn’t been shy about showing his love for her on social media. For her 24th birthday, he posted a picture and wrote, “Make a wish! This special day happens only once a year! Happy Birthday Jordyn! 🎂 #24years.”
And during Valentine’s, he again posted a photo and wrote how she is one in a million to him; in that photo, both can be seen smiling and having a good time. “She’s one of a kind. She’s my Valentine!” he wrote.

Their relationship first drew public attention during the 2022 NBA All-Star Weekend in Cleveland, where Allen was named an All-Star for the first time. January was spotted cheering him on during events like the Rising Stars Challenge.
Looking at her professional life, it can be seen that January is a registered nurse who has built a career in pediatric healthcare.

He recently said in an essay on The Players’ Tribune, “It’s funny, sometimes I get asked questions like, ‘Man, does it ever bother you that you don’t really get any hype? You kind of stay under the radar.’ But that’s been my whole life. I’m fine with it. I love it.
“All I care about is that my teammates look at me every day in practice and they know … He’s not that guy. But he’s THAT DUDE. That’s good enough for me,” Allen said.
