Should you draft Jalen Brunson in fantasy basketball this year? Latest fantasy projection for the New York Knicks Point Guard.

It’s the final weekend before the NBA regular season begins, which means you’re coming here for your fantasy basketball drafts.

Should you draft Jalen Brunson this season? Here’s the latest outlook, projections, and rankings for the New York Knicks Point Guard.

Should You Draft Jalen Brunson in Fantasy Basketball?

Jalen Brunson is very good at what he does and that makes selecting him at the 2-3 turn a fine decision to make.

You can feel solid about efficient scoring numbers and assists and know that you have rebounding/defensive numbers to chase. Would it be easier to just draft someone that did everything? Of course, but a player with a defined skill set does make your future decisions a bit easier and there’s value in that.

If you’re looking at Brunson, that likely means you landed a top tier player in the first round, all of whom generally give you plus rebound/defensive numbers for their respective positions. Since being acknowledged as a starter in this league, Brunson is averaging 72.3 games per season, a level of availability that would make me comfortable if I spent my first pick on a potential flight risk in Victor Wembanyama.

As far as a post-Brunson play, pairing him with teammates Josh Hart is a viable thought and I actually like the statistical fit next to Jarrett Allen as well.
