Taylor Swift has become one of the most talked-about figures of the 2026 NBA Finals. Game 5 tips off Saturday at 8:30 p.m. ET at the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio. The series shifts back to the road for the Knicks, who are one win away from their first championship since 1973.

Taylor Swift Would Not Be Attending Game 5 Tonight
After making a memorable appearance courtside at Madison Square Garden for Game 4, there is no indication that Swift plans to follow the action more than a thousand miles south for tonight’s do-or-die game for the Spurs.
Her Game 4 appearance was every bit as dramatic as the game itself. Swift traveled cross-country from Los Angeles, where she had performed live at the world premiere of Toy Story 5 on Tuesday night, to make it to MSG in time for tip-off.
She showed up wearing a blue shirt with “Stevie Knicks” printed in orange lettering and was seated courtside alongside friends Este Haim, Alana Haim, and Mariska Hargitay, who wore matching musically themed Knicks shirts of their own.
The Knicks then proceeded to pull off the greatest comeback in NBA Finals history, erasing a 29-point deficit to win 107-106 on OG Anunoby’s put-back with 1.2 seconds remaining.
She also attended Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Knicks and Cleveland Cavaliers alongside fiancé Travis Kelce, a known Cavaliers supporter who found himself cheering against his team’s conquerors. New York won that game, too.
As for tonight, the geography makes a San Antonio trip highly unlikely. Swift has shown no connection to the Frost Bank Center, and Game 5 is not a home game for the team she has been openly supporting.
If the Knicks lose tonight and the series forces a Game 6, that is a different story entirely. Game 6 would be back at Madison Square Garden next Tuesday, where Swift attended Game 4, and the arena at the center of swirling wedding rumors with Travis Kelce.
TMZ and Page Six have both reported that Swift and Kelce are planning to marry at MSG in early July, making her connection to the building about more than basketball right now. If the Knicks need a sixth game, we can expect Swift to be back courtside in New York.
The Knicks and Spurs will fight it out once again at the Frost Bank Center, as has been the case in the last four games. All eyes will be on Victor Wembanyama, who has shown quite the confidence that the Spurs can pull a rabbit out of the hat.
