The Milwaukee Bucks will roll into the Intuit Dome Monday night to face the Los Angeles Clippers. Coming off a 108-105 road victory Saturday against the Phoenix Suns, the Bucks are desperately clawing to improve their 29-41 record, which currently leaves them sitting in 11th place in the Eastern Conference.
Across from the Bucks are the 35-36 Los Angeles Clippers, who will be looking to protect their 8th seed in the competitive West. In their last game, the Clippers snapped a four-game losing streak with a close 138-131 victory over the Dallas Mavericks. They will be looking to make the most of a thinned-out Milwaukee bench.

Milwaukee Bucks Injury Report vs. Los Angeles Clippers
With 12 games remaining, the Bucks will be short-handed against the Clippers. Their cornerstone, Giannis Antetokounmpo, is listed as out after sustaining a left knee hyperextension and a bone bruise in the Bucks’ game against the Pacers on March 15. It happened during the third quarter, and Antetokounmpo was expected to be re-evaluated after a week.
As per ESPN, “Bucks co-owners Wes Edens and Jimmy Haslam told ESPN in a joint 90-minute interview that they will decide the path to take with Antetokounmpo (knee) together.” The “Greek Freak” is the heart of the Bucks’ system.

This season, he has played in 36 games and averaged 27.6 points, 9.8 rebounds, and 5.4 assists per game while shooting 62.4% from the floor. His absence leaves a massive void on both ends of the court for the Bucks.

Other than Antetokounmpo, several other key rotational players are also on the Milwaukee Bucks’ injury report. Kyle Kuzma is listed as questionable for the Monday night game due to right Achilles tightness sustained during the weekend matchup against the Suns.
Guard Kevin Porter Jr. is out with right knee synovitis, while guard Gary Harris is probable due to a left groin contusion. Harris missed the last game against the Suns due to the same injury.

Though Bobby Portis missed Saturday’s game with a rib injury, he is considered day-to-day for the game against the Clippers, indicating a potential return to action despite the recent injury.
On one hand, the injury woes don’t seem to stop for the Bucks; on the other, the dream of making it to the playoffs is slowly slipping away, something they haven’t missed since the 2015-16 season. If the Bucks want to keep the momentum from the Phoenix Suns game alive, they’ll have to do it while navigating a training room that doesn’t have the luxury to choose but to make the best of whatever they have.
