NBA Fans are not happy with Draymond Green. With Stephen Curry out for weeks (hamstring), the Golden State Warriors have been looking at Green for leadership.
Together with Jimmy Butler III and a reliable bench, the Warriors are looking to keep their playoff run alive before Curry returns.
Green, however, failed to step up and score when needed. With six fouls, the veteran was ejected minutes before the game ended. The Minnesota Timberwolves outscored the Warriors 18-15 after Green was out, clinching a 102-97 win at Chase Center.

Warriors Fans Call Out Draymond Green’s Lackluster Performance
While fans were upset about Green being fouled out, they also slammed his low score — two points, two rebounds, and four assists. In fact, some fans were convinced that Green cannot lead the Warriors without Curry alongside him.
He’s nothing without Curry 🤷🏻♂️

“He’s nothing without Curry 🤷🏻♂️,” one fan wrote.
“A veteran og said a few weeks ago that he ain’t worth the hype without Steph handing it to him .. well,” another user said.
Furthermore, as per @hardwoodjunkies on X, Green is also the third player to foul out of a playoff game with two points or less, while committing at least five turnovers.
Fans, rightfully upset at Green’s game, called for him to retire if he cannot help lead his team. With four NBA championships to his name and a legacy with the Warriors, Green is necessary for the team to win without Curry.
‘He was the worst player on the floor tonight. Bro should retire,” one fan added.
“Triple single,” another fan joked.
One user, pointing out the Warriors’ loss, added: “He wrecked his own team tonight.”
‘Another day, another Draymond Green masterclass,” one user said.
Jimmy Butler III Accepts Defeat After Green’s Game 3 Blunder
Along with fans, Butler — who had 33 points against the Wolves — admitted that Green’s fouling out cost the team.
“He’s one of the top defenders in the world — for sure the best defender on this squad. When he’s out, it is just different. You don’t got nobody back there that’s quarterbacking the way he does it; that can switch everything.”

Highlighting his legendary defense, Butler said:
“He’s one of the top defenders in the world — for sure the best defender on this squad. When he’s out, it is just different. You don’t got nobody back there that’s quarterbacking the way he does it; that can switch everything.”
And with no challenges left for head coach Steve Kerr, the Warriors had no way of trying to overturn the decision.
Apart from Green, fans were equally upset with Brandin Podziemski, who finished the game with five points, eight rebounds, and two assists. Jonathan Kuminga stunned with 30 points off the bench, perfectly complementing Butler’s game.
Game 4 is scheduled for Monday, May 12, at the Chase Center in San Francisco.
