On Wednesday evening, the Detroit Pistons will play their first game of the 2025-26 season when they visit the Chicago Bulls at the United Center.
The Pistons are coming off their best season in years, so there are a lot of expectations heading into the new season.

Before the game began, Pistons legend Isiah Thomas made a heartfelt post to Instagram.
He wrote: “Love the game with intensity, love the game with passion, feel it in your soul, and if your opponent can’t match that, you will be the winner!!”

Thomas played all 13 seasons of his legendary career in Detroit.
The 12-time All-Star led the franchise to two NBA Championships.
His career averages were 19.2 points, 3.6 rebounds, 9.3 assists and 1.9 steals per contest while shooting 45.2% from the field and 29.0% from the three-point range in 979 games.
Following the Bulls, the Pistons will resume action Friday night when they visit Kevin Durant and the Houston Rockets in Texas.
