Cooper Flagg looks every bit the next NBA star and is proving why he was universally regarded as one of the best players to come out of college in many years. Although his dating life is largely kept private and out of the spotlight, he has been rumored to be in a relationship. Here’s a look into his dating rumors as he prepares for an exciting Christmas Day matchup with Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors at 5 p.m. ET.

A Look At Cooper Flagg’s Private Life And Who He May Be Dating

On the court, Flagg looks to be running away with the Rookie of the Year award, especially after his remarkable performance against Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday night. He helped the Dallas Mavericks to a shock 131-130 win and nearly put up a triple-double, scoring 33 points with nine rebounds and nine assists. Incredible performance, and he’s only just turned 19 this week, which is even more remarkable.

Whilst he’s undoubtedly playing the best ball of his rookie year of late, quickly adapting to the league and looking like a star in the making, less is known about his private life.

However, he is heavily rumored to be dating the student-athlete Soccer player from Wake Forest, Lola Ressler. They attended the same school, Montverde Academy in Florida, and were reportedly seen together at Senior Prom.

The Sporting News provided further details in June of this year, reporting that they were actually prom king and queen in 2024 and were caught on camera dancing to an Ed Sheeran song together. Furthermore, they are reportedly active on each other’s social media. Flagg has appeared on choreographed TikToks with her in the past.

These above reports were both from June of this year; since then, there has been little in the way of rumors suggesting they are still together, with no fresh reports since the Mavericks drafted him from Duke University first overall.

Perhaps they are both keeping their relationship under wraps, as she focuses on Soccer and Flagg on his NBA career. We can only speculate as to their current relationship status.

However, what is known is that Flagg is turning into a star before our eyes. In his last five games, he is averaging 27.6 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 5.6 assists on 50.5% shooting from the field. He is mature far beyond his teenage years and is already the face of the Mavericks franchise. The Mavs currently sit 12-19 and are still in the running for a play-in spot this year.
