The Milwaukee Bucks have had a challenging season so far. As of today, the team is 16-20 overall and fourth in the Central Division.
Much of the discussion surrounding the team has centered on star Giannis Antetokounmpo and whether he’ll be traded. However, on Monday, it was announced that someone else who has been part of the organization for years will no longer hold their role.

Bucks President Peter Feigin Stepping Down After 12 Seasons
The team issued a press release on Monday, explaining that team president Peter Feigin is stepping down after serving in the role for 12 seasons.
Josh Glessing, who has been working as the Haslam Sports Group’s chief of strategy and development, will be taking over for Feigin. The two men are expected to work jointly over the next several months to ensure a seamless transition.

Feigin was in his role during some of the most important moments in franchise history. He was in place for the 2018 opening of Fiserv Forum, as well as the championship season in 2020-21.
“Serving as President of the Milwaukee Bucks has been the honor of my professional life,” Feigin said in a statement released by the team. “Together with our ownership group, partners, players, and an incredible staff, we built something truly special for this city and state. I am incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished and confident that the organization is in tremendous shape.”
Glessing is a Wisconsin native and lifelong Bucks fan. The businessman previously worked at Goldman Sachs and assisted the Bucks ownership group in financing Fiserv Forum.
“I was born a Bucks fan and I don’t need to learn what this team means to Milwaukee and the state of Wisconsin,” Glessing said in a statement. “I have known it my entire life.”
Fans of the Bucks will likely be thrilled to have a fellow fan in one of the most important positions in the front office. The team is entering a crucial time, where they must decide what to do with their franchise player.
Bucks Struggling in 2025-26 Season, Risk Missing Playoffs
If the regular season ended today, the Bucks wouldn’t even be a Play-In team. The team is currently the 11th seed in the Eastern Conference, but they are 5-2 in their last seven games.
Antetokounmpo is still playing like a star, averaging 29.3 points, 10.0 rebounds, and 5.5 assists per game, while shooting a career-best 39.3% on three-pointers. The problem is, the team around Antetokounmpo simply isn’t performing.
Per NBA Advanced Stats, the Bucks rank 21st in net offense and 18th in net defense. Myles Turner, the team’s big offseason addition, has been underwhelming and is having his least productive offensive season since the 2021-22 season.
The Bucks haven’t missed the playoffs since the 2015-16 season, but they’re in danger of doing so this year.
