Paul will now be an intriguing free agent on the market who could help a contending team’s bench for the NBA playoffs.
He has made the NBA Finals one time (2021 with the Suns).
Via Blake Murphy of Sportsnet: “The Raptors have waived Chris Paul. Paul is eligible for the playoffs if he signs elsewhere now. For tax proximity reasons, Raptors may delay converting a 2-way or signing someone. Could 10-day for flexibility, as well.”
