NetsDaily: “When Killian Hayes joined Nets last season, he was labeled worst player in NBA after Detroit dumped him. He developed his shot and became a solid G Leaguer. Got 10-day with Nets. They drafted fellow French PG Traore so he moved on. Now he’s back. Good for him.”
Jack Dann: “Wait, I love the Killian Hayes signing for the Kings, I wouldn’t be shocked if he earns a deal. He’s been good in the G-League and has matured significantly since his Pistons days. He’s a safe playmaker, has shown stretches of good shooting, and has decent hands.”
Sean Cunningham: “Sources confirm that the Sacramento Kings are signing Killian Hayes to a 10-day contract. The 24-year-old, 6-5 guard has been playing with G League’s Cleveland Charge averaging 22.4 points & 8.5 assists per game. @MikeAScotto first with report.”
Frank Cartoscelli: “Obviously, a lot has changed since 2020, but here’s an NBA Pre-Draft profile from Sacramento Kings head coach Doug Christie on Killian Hayes from Doug’s time with Sactown Sports: Strengths: – Court vision – Great passer – Great in transition”
Hayes was the seventh pick in the 2020 NBA Draft.
He spent the first four seasons of his career playing for the Detroit Pistons.
The 24-year-old has career averages of 8.1 points, 2.9 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 1.2 steals per contest while shooting 38.3% from the field and 28.1% from three-point range in 216 games.

They are currently the 15th seed in the Western Conference with a 12-46 record in 58 games.
